Arsenal will be looking for their first win against Chelsea in the league since October 2011, and to achieve it I believe they have to go for strength in midfield.
Cech and the back four pick themselves, but it's in midfield that the game will be won or lost, particularly the centre of midfield.
Wenger has to start Elneny and Xhaka, and keep Cazorla and Coquelin in reserve. Elneny has power, and Xhaka is on a roll at the moment - you wouldn't bet on him scoring a third successive thirty-yarder, but following his last two efforts he'll be on a big high confidence-wise - he has to be given the chance.
Giroud should also start with Ozil and Sanchez - We need his power up front. Iwobi can come off the bench to offer something different if things aren't going our way.
This could be our best chance in a long while to finally get a result against Chelsea, and we have to keep up ther momentum.
As Wenger says:
"Maybe we have a hurdle to overcome. It’s what you call an inconvenient fact. But a quality of a team is to change things - when you have an opportunity to change things, you take it. We have a chance to reverse what’s happened in recent years against Chelsea. There were periods where we won always, periods where we couldn’t beat them, so let’s hope we go into a new era where we can deliver."
Who will Wenger pick?
