| Welcome to Arsenal World! | Safely through to the next round of one of the three trophies Arsene wants to win. Plymouth Argyle came to The Emirates and were no pushovers - it has to be said that we beat them easily in the end, but frankly at times we made hard work of it, and seemed to find it as hard to break down their excellent defence as we do every weekend against Premiership opposition. It's unlikely we'll see any significant new arrivals before the transfer window is slammed shut, so let's just hope some of the walking wounded return in double quick time. Our bench looks more like a hospital waiting room every week - hardly fills me with confidence. Next up - Bolton at home next Saturday. |
