I understand that its early on in the season and perhaps everyone is raving about Arsenal's title aspirations too soon but they are looking the best they have been in a long long time.
The big name (and big money) signing of Mesut Ozil has lifted the club, he oozes confidence and has the quality to back it up. The great form of Aaron Ramsey has been key, for a player that has always struggled to score he has found the net time and time again this season. Jack Wilshere hasn't had the greatest start but when he hits top gear he is a special talent. Giroud has been superb so far this campaign and, while not as good as past Gunner's he can surely get twenty plus goals this season.
On top of all their attacking flair the back four look the strongest they have been for a few years. Mertesacker and Koscielny have struck a partnership at the heart of defence that is hard to beat. Sagna after wanting to leave last season has made the right back position his, Keiren Gibbs looks like a top young talent at left back.
Undoubtedly Ozil has brought the best out in his team mates but I think the greatest addition to the squad is the returning Flamini. The steel he has added to the Arsenal team has been exceptional. He has come back a matured player and fills a role that has never been filled since Viera.
I think Wenger needs to add in two positions atleast, a top goal scoring striker to help out Giroud (Karim Benzama's name has been mentioned as a target) and a top class goalkeeper to challenge Wojciech Szczesny for the no 1 jersey.
The next six games, a double header against Borussia Dortmund in the CL, Chelsea in the Capital One cup and Palace, Liverpool and Manchester United in the league could define their season.
If Arsenal can keep their great run up there is no reason for the Premier League not to come back to the Emirates.
