With David Seaman definitely unavailable for Saturday's match against Spurs, it would appear to be a straight choice between Shaaban and Taylor for the keepers Jersey.
For my money, Shaaban shades it. His clean sheet tonight will have increased his confidence levels no end, and will help to prepare him for a real Premiership "baptism of fire" on Saturday.
Arsene Wenger said: "Seaman is out against Tottenham with his groin injury and now I have to choose between Rami and Stuart. But Shaaban looked good. He made an excellent save with his legs early in the second half when we were under some pressure and he was always alert, committed and strong."
