"Thierry made a great try with the overhead kick and it would have been a fantastic goal. But I feel that we are sometimes a bit too comfortable. We were 2-0 up and it looked okay as we were not under threat. But then it was 2-1 and we could have been punished for not having taken our chances before and having eased off a little bit too much.
"We want to win first of all and to entertain people as well. You can go so quickly from over-confidence to surprises in football that you always want your team to be on the edge and to play with urgency."
He then went on to talk about Henry, and why he feels that he would be a worthy winner of FIFA World Player Of The Year:
"Thierry would have my vote and I think he deserves it if you take all the strikers in the world and their assists and goalscoring record. His goal against the Republic of Ireland made the difference for France to qualify for the World Cup and I feel that with his overall contribution to football in the past five or six years, he deserves it as much as Shevchenko or Ronaldinho."
