At the end of the day though, he was happy to get back to winning ways. He said after the game:

"Local derbies are either completely locked with no chances or completely crazy. This time, you got the crazy version. I'm not too happy that we conceded four goals but derbies are a little bit special.
"It's strange as we had the best defence in the league last season with the same back-four. But we're a bit smaller as a unit now."
(What he obviously didn't mention was that our defence has looked frail since Sol Campbell picked up his injury).
Wenger added: "People are maybe going over-board because we've not won our last two league games, but we have lost one out of 53. I enjoyed it, but there were certainly some uncomfortable moments."
