He said after the game:
"It does not make up for what happened at Southampton - it's not that I don't want to forgive him for in our job you have to accept that young players make mistakes sometimes - but the two points we lost then are gone.

"This was part of his rehabilitation and he did show he's capable, and he showed another part of his talent. He had a team-oriented performance, not a selfish one. He has a talent and I feel more is to come out. You feel there's something special in there and that there are good ingredients still to show."
