Gio - back after a long layoff

Gio hasn't kicked a ball in anger for the first team since damaging cruciate ligaments back in February during the home fixture against Fulham. He's had a couple of run-outs for the reserves as is normal during recovery from such an injury, but this will be his first full appearance.

Robert Pires is also expected to play a part tonight, while Patrick Vieira is once again available after missing the last two games due to suspension.

You can also be sure that Arsene Wenger will shove a few youngsters into the side, with a couple starting and some on the bench. Expect to see players like Pennant, Aliadiere, Stepanovs, Jeffers, and of course Rami Shabaan between the sticks.
