The Belgian was wanted by many clubs in the summer but finally picked Chelsea due to their Champions League success. He has been a key figure in midfield with Mata, both providing assists and scoring goals themselves.
4. Steven Pienaar (?5.75 million)
The South African left Everton for Tottenham a few seasons back but because of the the lack of first team play he decided to make back to his former club. What a great decision that was, he's not only provided assists but also goals helping the club to 5th place.
5. Dimitar Berbatov (?6 million)
The Bulgarian was left out of United's first team but he still hasn't lost his sparkling form, with Dempsey leaving Fulham in the summer, it was a move destined to him. His 5 league goals have kept Fulham high up in the Premier League and he has never disappointed Martin Jol.
6. Robin Van Persie (?30 million)
This transfer was the biggest in the summer and RVP has not let down anyone, with 15 goals this season and 12 in the Premier League he is fighting for the Golden Boot.
7. Steven Fletcher (?15 million)
It was a lot of money for Sunderland to splash out on the Scottish but it has been worth it, with him scoring 8 league goals in his debut season for Sunderland.
8. Miguel Michu (?2.5 million)
Some will say that he has been the best bargain for a long time with 13 goals in the league he is the league's top scorer. He has performed and scored consistently throughout the season and has pleased both the Swansea fans and Michael Laudrup.
9. Mohamed Diame (free)
No one knows how Diame was able to leave the club on a free transfer, his strength and ability to change the game made him a wanted play throughout the summer and big Sam managed to pick him up.
10. Arouna Kone (?3.5 million)
Roberto Martinez found the Ivorian from somewhere and his goal tally has matched the price that was payed for him, becoming Wigan's top scorer in the league this season.
