REDsection update for September 2005

Progress has been very good and following meetings with the Club, we are delighted to announce the details behind the proposal:
- The area will have will consist of 500 seats. We believe that a large proportion of these will be taken up by Season Ticket Holders with the remaining Seats will be available on a match by match basis to members of the Arsenal. Silver first then Red members in line with availability elsewhere in the stadium.
- the REDsection is available to anyone with Gold, Silver or Red membership.
- it will be situated in the north west corner of the new stadium (equivalent of Block 7 at Highbury).
- Season tickets are priced @ £885.00 Match ticket pricing will be around the £35.00 mark)

“How do I join the REDsection?”
Simple. To join the 600+ registrars we already have on board, send your membership status, seven-digit membership number and name to
redaction@btinternet.com . Gold members should also send in their block, row and seat number
“But I don't want to give you my membership number. What if someone misuses it?”

"I won't be able to sit with my mates though will I?”
Absolutely you will! The idea is to segregate singers from everyone else and also to join together groups of mates. It's very much in our interests to make sure everyone's match day experience is so much better than it currently is and that means getting people together.
“I bet the club have just given you the worst seats in the ground, haven't they?”Not at all. The seats will be in the north stand lower tier just off centre behind the goal. It won't be a Newcastle away type of area. We'll be within yelling distance of the pitch so no problems there!
“I'd like to join but I've already got a letter from the club asking me to choose a seat at the new stadium”That's alright. Just call the Emirates reservations line on 0845-262-0000 and explain that you'd like to be allocated within the REDsection. We'll all be given an alternative date to choose the seats in our section.

In addition to the permanent REDsection, we'll be looking to have one-off REDsections for League Cup home fixtures as we did with great success last season against Everton. The areas will have around 250 seats and we'll release details on Arsenal World as well as our mailing list.
