The details are as follows:
Date: Thursday 8th Sept 2005
Time: 12 noon
Meet: Outside Marble Halls
We offered you the chance to win two tickets to this tour, by coming up with an idea to improve the atmosphere. We received many emails, but we selected this from Julian Manfredi:
“My suggestion for improving the atmosphere at The Home Of Football is
to show well edited and put together compilations of the greatest games
and events in our great clubs history in the hour before the game on
the big screens. r this, we would need to be able to hear the likes of
Pleat writing us off at Anfield '89 along with Moore's commentary, watch
the McMahon' "1 minute" etc (and the Thomas goal obviously), the
blaring out of Motty's commentary when The King Of Highbury scored THAT goal at the Lane in '78 ("Look at that" etc, you know the drill), Moore's
commentary on Charlie's winner at Wembley in '71, Sundy's winner in '79
and the list obviously goes on ad infinitum I can't think of a better
way to celebrate the great memories our spiritual home has brought me
over the last 35 years and so many others for an awful lot longer.”

So congratulations to Julian! We will be looking into getting a longer big screen montage out soon. Thanks to all those that entered.
