"I don't blame him. Usually Thierry is comfortable with it. He took it quite well, the penalty, apart from that is missed by a few inches.
"The keeper dived on the other side. He hit it quite hard on the ground and it looked like it would be in - but that's the difference. As long as he doesn't lose confidence with it it's no problem for me.
"He always loves to score and he certainly wasn't happy to miss it. When you're a winner you're never happy to miss something. Tonight we we're not punished by it."
He went on to comment on the game in general, and made comments about the young players who were involved:
"I feel we lacked a little bit of experience in our final ball to make a difference. There were some interesting situations, but we gave the ball too late or didn't give the ball at the right moment or at all and in the end it cost us the victory."
"I feel we lacked a goal to have a complete six games, six victories - but I'm pleased with the teamwork, especially defensively. The biggest positive is that some players looked very lively - Quincy, Eboue and Larsson. They are not used to playing that level."
