New away shirt - Memories of '71

The club are apparently waiting until the eve of the new season before launching the kit. This is partly to increase impact (it will be launched when the pre-season hype is well and truly underway) and partly to prevent counterfeiters getting hold of samples.
 
Personally I reckon we've been put to the back of the Nike production queue behind Manchester United!

The shirt reverts back to a plain yellow design that will no doubt find favour amongst a large contingent of fans who never really took to the recent gold and blue offerings.

Personally I think it'll be popular. The first person that came to mind when I saw the picture was Pat Rice for some reason - 1971 and all that I suppose!
