Player Ratings

Jens Lehmann - 5.5 - He made one good save from Hasselbaink late on, but made a huge error in the first half when he failed to deal with a corner, and ended up out by the corner flag. A better team would have punished us.

Ashley Cole - 6 - He was almost non existent today.

Kolo Toure - 7 - Had a good game, apart from the lack of communication with Lehmann after the keeper had spilt a corner.

Philippe Senderos - 7.5 - Good to see him back. He had a cracking game, and was one of the few positives to come out of this lacklustre match. He made one slip up, which could have cost us, but other than that was really strong, and helped us see of anything that came at us.

Lauren - 5.5 - He was also non existent, although I'm sure Downing will disagree as he will still have Lauren's stud marks on his leg for quite some time. A poor challenge by anyone's standards, and Ralph was lucky not to see red for it. A two footed lunge in only the first minute is something that we don't want to see again.

Robert Pires - 6 - His movement was good, but his passing was some way off today.

Gilberto - 6.5 - He didn't have the same impact on the game as he did against Norwich. He made a few good tackles and passes, but this was countered by wasting possession on other occasions.

Patrick Vieira - 6.5 - He had a storming first 10 minutes, where he imposed himself on the game. However, as the game went on he faded away.

Cesc Fabregas - 6.5 - Asked to play out of position. He played quite well in spells, creating space for himself on the right. However, his final ball was lacking for the most part.

Jose Reyes - 6 - He put in a good effort. Things are not working out for him on the pitch at the moment, so you have to admire the fact that he keeps on trying his best to make things work.

Thierry Henry - 6 - He had an off day, where his runs frequently came to nothing and his passing was not at its best.

Subs

Dennis Bergkamp - 6 - He had little impact on the game after coming on at the start of the second half.
