Arsenal
ST: Burak Yilmaz, 28 -- Galatasaray SK (Turkey):
In the case Olivier Giroud goes down with an injury, Ars?ne Wenger will be placing all of his trophy aspirations on the right boot of one Nicklas Bendtner. The French manager might have confidence in the Danish center-forward, but from all we?ve see so far ? he?s not the man to lead the Gunners line. Turkish striker Burak Yilmaz looks to have the technical ability to play in Arsenal?s possession-oriented style, and would be the right amount of competition the Frenchman Giroud needs to spur an increased goal tally.
(Current Market Value: -?16 million)
CB: Kurt Zouma, 19 ? AS Saint-?tienne (France):
The wunderkind has been linked with just about every big team in Europe; Chelsea, Bayern Munich, Manchester United, and-so-on-and-so-forth. With the injury blow to Laurent Koscielny and the seemingly out-of-favour Thomas Vermaelen, it will be interesting to see if Ars?ne Wenger goes to his familiar French well, and picks up another native starlet to partner with his giant German captain Per Mertesacker.
(Current Market Value: +?6.2 million)
Aston Villa
W/AM: Ashley Young, 28 -- Manchester United (England):
With Christian Benteke and Libor Koz?k gobbling up direct long balls, Aston Villa would be wise to find some width. Rumors are swirling a return to Villa Park is in the cards for Manchester United?s Ashley Young, as David Moyes looks to make changes at Old Trafford. If Ashley Young is indeed one of those changes, Paul Lambert should be looking to spend on the former Villa winger, as the pacey Young could be the solution to his side?s waning form.
(Current Market Value: -?17.5 million)
CB: Joleon Lescott, 31 ? Manchester City (England):
It seems as if Joleon Lescott needs greener pastures, starting in only six of a possible 16 league games for Manchester City, his already slim chances of making England?s World Cup roster are rapidly disappearing. Aston Villa lost summer transfer, and Danish centre-back, Jores Okore to a season-ending knee injury, and their three remaining central defenders have been anything but stalwart thus far into the campaign; Lescott might just be the stability Villa needs to remain mid-table, and Villa might just be what Lescott needs to catch the eye of England boss Roy Hodgson.
(Current Market Value: -?7.9 million)
