Arsenal star Ramsey has been the biggest standout of the Premier League season so far. He has eight goals and four assists from midfield under his belt.
His incredible form has attracted the attention of Barcelona boss Gerardo Martino, who has been deploying scouts all over the continent in search for reinforcements.
The Spanish side has been struggling to live up to the bar that they have set. Current Barca stars Xavi and Puyol have been struggling to match their usual performance levels while Messi is struggling to regain his fitness levels after being sidelined by an injury.
Martino has sent scouts to watch four of Ramsey?s games for club and country to see how the 22-year old would fit into the Barca line-up. All scouts have sent back glowing reports of the Welshman?s form, technique, and ability.
However, the chances of the Arsenal man to depart the Emirates for the Nou Camp are looking slim, as the Welshman has reportedly formed a strong bond with Gunners boss Arsene Wenger, who supported Ramsey through his lengthy rehabilitation following a horrible broken leg.
When asked whether he would be willing to sell Ramsey, Wenger said that he would like to keep the current squad together. ?I've suffered enough for years for having to sell the players. Now we are in a stronger position financially,? he continued.
