Arsenal v Blackburn Rovers - Player Ratings

Last updated : 18 March 2009 By Luis Anaconda

Manuel Almunia - 6 - Lost his head (not unreasonably) with Diouf, but dealt with everything else thrown his way.

Bacary Sagna - 6 - Hardly troubled at the back and not really needed in a attacking sense with Theo motoring along in front of him.

Kolo Toure - 7 - After the early debacle in midweek, this was a comfortable game for the skipper.

Johan Djourou - 7 - Like his colleague, had time to enjoy himself at the back.

Gael Clichy - 7 - More like the Gael of old, even put in a quality cross.

Theo Walcott - 9 - How we've missed him. Blackburn's succession of left backs will be having sleepless nights for weeks.

Alexandre Song - 8 - Showed his qualities as a defensive midfielder but equally impressive when striding forward adding a different dimension to our attack.

Denilson - 7 - Fairly usual dependable outing from our little Brazilian.

Samir Nasri - 7 - Started on the left, moved to the centre finished on the right - equally adept in all three positions.

Andrey Arshavin - 8 - Brave, quick, skillful, cheeky - seems perfectly at home already.

Nicklas Bendtner - 6 - Started well with a wonderful pass for Walcott to open up Blackburn, but his lack of composure in front of goal is a worry.

Substitutes:

Abou Diaby - 5 - Not quite the impact of his fellow substitutes.

Emmanuel Eboue - 7 - Can't really ask more of a sub. Nice pen.

Carlos Vela - 7 - His pace is always a threat coming on late against a tiring defence.
