Hernandez has shown his frustration at the lack of first team football at United and even took to twitter to post an article on why he should move for first team football. The 25-year-old is a realistic option and a bid of around ?15 million could be enough to tempt United.
Arsenal have money to spend and attack is a priority for Wenger in January. Liverpool?s Luis Suarez is still thought to be Wenger?s number one target but Suarez may decide to stay at least till the end of the season with Liverpool having a good start to the season.
Another option for Wenger is Juventus striker Fernando Llorente who may be available on a loan deal. Juventus may prefer a permanent deal and would be available for around the ?20 million mark.
Wenger may move for all three forwards with the amount of pressure on Giroud. There are worries Giroud will suffer burn-out due to playing every game and having no other options up front. Giroud has been in great form for Arsenal so far this season but it is hard to imagine he will be able to maintain his form playing nearly every three days.
If Arsenal and Wenger want to be successful on all fronts this season another striker, perhaps even two or three, is imperative and Hernandez, Suarez and Llorente are proven strikers in the Champions League and would be a welcome addition to the squad.
